II think it's too tiring and hard and stressful to go to school with Tourettes. I am 54 and just got Tourettes two years ago and I really feel sorry for the children and teenagers who are going to school. I would not worry about schooling if I was them. If I felt like it I would just study some on my own. Telling someone to control their ticks is same as telling someone to stop a seizure that they are in.

It sounds difficult to live with. I am sorry.

How do they know if they’re about to have a seizure?

I have a lot of head jerking, sometimes I crack the shit out of my neck and it can be very painful, but that doesn't happen often.

I’ve had anxiety tics for years and it has gotten worse that I don’t it 24/7 when I’m not anxious or stressed I have hurt my neck from bending it back a lot 😢

Be careful using a knife with twitching

I have all this except they haven’t been going on for a yr if they go on for a yr im gonna ask to see a doctor abt a diagnosis for something! 💗

Hi sweetie, I was just wondering what I look like during a seizure and yours looks terrifying. I was just curious but I don't think/know if my condition is as bad as yours 😔😢. Heartbreaking to be honest. I did not grow up with epilepsy so know very little about my own condition, which only started after my 1st brain operation 😞 and got little less frequent as my brain started to recover from surgical damage. I do however have a better understanding of what I look like during seizure. So baie dankie (thank you very much)

Didn't know that anxiety tips only happened when anxious. I've used that as an explanation for years but maybe I should look more into it

My problem is I can't figure out what specifically triggers my supposed seizures. I have FND and one seizure rype does not fit the bill.

You're so brave People don't understand us... Having family support is important....my mom is a champ....taught me to walk away from insults and gossips ...some say I'm possessed and treat me differently.... Dr's say I have Epilepsy My mom would say ..just follow the Dr's instructions, follow your diet, stay away from alcohol....and be careful with my Sodium and Sugar intake... She says don't be sad...there are people around the world who are going thru worser sicknesses... Be happy ..live your life....follow Dr's instructions... and stay away from whatever u know may trigger a seizure..

Please purchase smelling salts now for your loved ones with seizures, it can be the difference of my wife seizing up like a board and being unresponsive vs if we’re in the car and she can’t move I’ll use them on here and she can actually walk back inside and sometimes even carry a baby. Other days she can’t speak, after smelling it she can sometimes it takes a few minutes

It hurts if you fight back as a person who’s on meds about it😅

I’m sorry people do that, a lot of people are just questioning a lot of people of their torretes cause of this girl named Emily who is faking it and making fun of people with actual torretes. Everyone believed her and now it’s just hard to believe people these days. It’s not a hate comment I’m completely agreeing with you on this I’m just letting you know maybe why people question people with torretes .

I have Tourette’s syndrome too and I can see the ticks are you doing in the video I do those too and it’s so annoying when people don’t think I have threats because I don’t do it that much or I don’t do ticks that people normally see
